MATERIALS THAT MATTER
The cases of the 39.5mm and 43.5mm models, as well as the 45.5mm chronographs, are made from stainless steel or 18K Sedna™ gold. Most impressively, the dials and bezels have been created from ceramic, a sleek effect that is enhanced by Liquidmetal™ or Ceragold™ numbers and scaling.
"Subtle design details include Arabic numerals, an alveol screw-in caseback and a transferred minutes track."
The applied indexes are coated with white Super-LumiNova that emits a blue light, while the minute hand and dot on the diving bezel glow green. This helps divers easily keep track of their time underwater.
RUBBER STRAPS AND BEZELS
In some Planet Ocean models, rubber has been blended with ceramic to create the first 15 minutes of the vibrant diving bezel. Some straps are also made from rubber with an anti-bacterial treatment. Even on the water-resistant leather straps, rubber has been included on the underside for comfort and functionality.

"Revolutionary movements and technologies take these models to the next level."
The original Planet Ocean models in 2005 were known for their bright orange tones. These models embrace that heritage with polished orange ceramic bezels. The diving scales are filled with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova, while a diverse range of dials, bracelets and straps is available.
A GMT FOR NIGHT AND DAY
In another premiere, this 43.5mm GMT model introduces our first bi-ceramic bezel. With incredible effect, the contrasting black and white ring and markings help to separate night from day. The stainless steel case features a black ceramic dial and the watch is powered by the Master Chronometer GMT 8906 movement.
THE MASTER CHRONOMETER STANDARD
The Master Chronometer calibres that drive these watches (9900 / 9901, 8906, 8800 / 8801, 8900 / 8901) are at the pinnacle of watchmaking precision and performance. Each watch has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), proving its excellence even in magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss.
